THERE’S a chance to enjoy a good night out later this month at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club.

The club, which has recently come into new management is playing host to Wilf’s Carnival Band, a Droitwich-based acoustic ukulele band, which plays all genres of modern music from the 1920s through to the present day, from rock and roll, to pop, folk, country, jazz and traditional Irish music.

As well as ukuleles, the band also features a mandolin, banjulele, bass and percussion with harmonious vocals, which promise to provide a party atmosphere.

A spokesman for the club, said: “This will be entertainment for all ages, where a sing-a-long and audience participation is encouraged.”

The evening, from 8.30pm on Friday, November 20 at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club, is free of charge, and people won’t require tickets to enter.
