FORMER head boys and head girls are set to be the guests of honour at an opening ceremony for the new sixth form centre at North Bromsgrove High School.

The centre, which is officially opening on Friday, November 20, features three large study rooms and a new dry art area for students to produce and display their work.

The new centre is next to the main school library, with access to the Information and Computer Technology suites and the MAC suite.

Head boys and head girls from previous years at the school will get to be the first to view the new facilities, as well as having the chance to meet up with pupils past and present and take a nostalgic tour.

Head of sixth form, Sarah Figg, said: “Our new refurbishments look fantastic and we believe they will further enrich the experience of the growing number of sixth formers here at North. We would love our former students to be a part of this special event, so please save the date and gather up all your old friends and contacts as we very much look forward to seeing you all.”

The school is keen to encourage any former students to take a trip down memory lane by attending an opening ceremony, which is taking place at 7.30pm on Friday, November 20. Anyone interested in attending should contact the school on 01527 872375 or write to hwe@northbromsgrove.worcs.sch.uk.
