FOUR Bromsgrove children have raised more than £400 for the primrose hospice, in memory the father of two of the children, who was cared for by the charity.
Ella and Charlie Whitehouse teamed up with Sam and Jack Burns to raise £463 in memory of Ella and Charlie’s father Jonathan Whitehouse.
The four organised a table sale in two gazebos, selling books, cakes and refreshments, and they were invited to the hospice’s children’s garden to hand over their donations and receive certificates and cake with the staff.
Friend of the family, Margaret Burns, said: “It does the children good to put something back.”
The children also wanted to thank Dorothy Jepson, Kerry Whitehouse, Rob Burns, Helen Burns, Margaret Burns and Jenny Harding for their help.
