A TEENAGER was airlifted to hospital after being involved in a collision on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the A4137 near The Hambletts, St Owen's Cross, at around 8.45am after reports that a car was in a ditch.

A 17-year-old female passenger – with arm, wrist and shoulder pain – was given pain relief and had a wound dressed after suffering a deep cut to the elbow.

She was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. The driver of the vehicle was checked and discharged at the scene.

An ambulance, community paramedic, paramedic support officer and Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended along with fire crews and police.
