CHILDREN at Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School in Rubery have been learning all about the cultures and traditions surrounding Chinese New Year with some fun interactive activities.
The school has set up a Chinese home corner every day, with chopsticks, woks, food menus, and traditional Chinese food to try.
Children have been learning how to use chopsticks in their snack time, and acting out the animal race which forms the basis of the story behind the Chinese zodiac.
Jacqueline Walker from Jellybabies, said: “We feel that it is very important for children to learn about other countries, cultures and traditions and the children have had great fun whilst learning.”
