YOUNGSTERS at a Halesowen school will be safe on dark winter days after a donation 0f 200 high-visibility vests.
The Cornbow centre branch of Specsavers presented the bright yellow vests to pupils at Tenterfields Primary School as part of Road Safety Week.
They will make use of the vests when walking to and from school and when on school trips.
Store director Shahid Parvez, said: “Now the evenings are getting darker, it’s really important we help children stay safe on the roads.
“Hopefully, by donating these hi-vis vests, we’ll be able to give parents and teachers some peace of mind.”
