LITTLE monsters will be far from bored at Black Country Living Museum this half-term.

Horrible Black Country Histories will leave youngsters both disgusted and delighted - and they might even learn a thing or two.

Groups can brave the revolting route around the museum village as they hunt for all things gruesome, discovering putrid props, scary spiders, repulsive rats and a hidden mystery surprise.

Visitors will enter into hovels, privvys and more and find out about the medicinal leeches, demon beetles and night soil men that haunt the Black Country’s past.

Crafty devils will appreciate the creative activities on offer at the Victorian school, where they can make a bang with some firework art or create their very own finger puppets and family friendly spooky cartoons will also be screened in the Limelight Cinema.

The museum will come to life on Halloween as little ghosts and goblins trick or treat in the village, encountering everything from a creepy crawly show to fire-breathing circus performers, living statues, birds of prey and more.

Horrible Black Country Histories runs from October 25 to November 2 and Halloween Nights take place on October 31 and November 1.
