DROITWICH Concert Club is launching into its 42nd season at the end of this month with the Maggini String Quartet visiting the town for the eight time.
The quartet, which has received several international awards for its recordings of works from British composers, is coming to the Methodist Church on Worcester Road in Droitwich on Saturday, October 25 from 7.30pm.
They will be performing a programme including the first quartet by Moeran, as well as Haydn’s Quartet in A Opus 55 No.1, and Mendelssohn’s Quartet in E flat Opus 44.
Tickets for the event are £15 for adults and £5 for under 17s. They can be booked in advance by calling 01905 779736 or purchased at the door before the concert begins.
