Golf club raises charity funds with coffee morning

A TOWN golf club held a competition and coffee morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Gaudet Luce Golf and Leisure Complex, Middle Lane, Hadzor, organised the event on Friday, September 28 as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning initiative.

Around 30 people took part to raise £90 for the cause.

Organiser Rob Amphlett said: “Thanks to everyone who took part, it’s very satisfying to know that we can do some good while we’re playing golf.”
