CUSTOMERS and staff at Webbs Garden Centre in Wychbold are holding a Donate, Don’t Dump Day for St Richard’s Hospice.
They are encouraging people to attend the garden centre on Thursday, September 13, between 10am and 5pm and bring at least one good quality item which is no longer wanted or needed.
There will be a Webbs van in the car park ready to accept donations. These will then be taken directly to St Richard’s Hospice warehouse where everything will be sorted and taken into the charity’s shops to be sold.
Executive chairman Ed Webb said: “We have held a number of very successful days for our local hospices throughout the last few years. Our customers now know them as a fixed part of the calendar and are keen to do their bit for such important local charities. We are very glad to be able to help St Richard’s raise the much needed funds to carry out their invaluable work in the community.”
