A MAN who left a victim with facial scars after a party got out of control is facing a lengthy prison sentence.
Nelson Robertson, aged 22, of Nunnery Avenue, Droitwich, pleaded guilty to wounding Matthew Powell with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm on the day he was due to face trial by jury.
He also admitted at Worcester Crown Court assaulting Ben Starkey and causing him actual bodily harm. Mr Powell was injured with a bottle and Mr Starkey was punched. Both offences happened during a party on February 18.
Granting Robertson bail for a pre-sentence report to be prepared, Judge John Cavell said: "You must understand that the sentence will inevitably be custody for an offence as serious as this."
Defending, Richard Hull said Robertson - who will be sentenced at a date to be fixed - had mental health issues. He must remain on an electronically-monitored overnight curfew.
