Spa surgeon nominated for top industry awards

A TOP Droitwich cosmetic surgeon is in the running to receive two prestigious industry awards.

Dalvi Humzah, whose private practice - Plastic and Dermatological Surgery (PDS) - is based at BMI The Droitwich Spa Hospital has been announced as a contender in two of the most sought-after categories in the annual Aesthetic Awards 2012-13.

He has been nominated in the ‘Speaker of the Year’ and ‘The Baroness Ritchie Award for Services to the Industry’ categories at this year’s awards in December.

Organised by Cosmetic News Magazine, the awards recognise the achievements of practitioners and surgeons working in the cosmetic industry.

As a regular campaigner for improved standards for patients seeking surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, Mr Humzah is delighted to be recognised in this year’s awards.

He said: “It is a real honour to be a finalist in both categories. The awards do a fantastic job in celebrating high standards and excellence in the industry, as well as creating a real buzz and excitement.”
