DROITWICH police are appealing for information after a boy cyclist collided with a car which failed to stop.
The boy was treated for non-life threatening injuries after the incident, which is believed to have involved a red Renault with large, shiny twin exhausts.
The incident happened near the junction of Windsor Road and York Avenue at 6.30pm yesterday, (September 10).
A spokesman for Droitwich police said: “After the collision, the car was driven off at some substantial speed with the wheels spinning and tyres squealing, so we are hopeful that some passers-by may have seen it and can help.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0300 333 3000.
