A MAN suffered a leg injury after being in collision with a car in Droitwich on Saturday, (February 4).

The incident happened at 6.15pm when the 20-year-old man was in collision with a black Ford Fiesta in Ombersley Street West.

The vehicle left the scene in the direction of Ombersley Road following the incident.

West Mercia Police officers, investigating the incident, are asking witnesses to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Townsend said: "We're currently keeping an open mind about this incident and this is why we are keen to speak to anyone who has information.

"Fortunately, the man's injuries are not too serious but it could have been a lot worse so I would encourage anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information to contact us as a matter of urgency."
