A MOTORIST who drove for more than 40 years on a provisional licence has finally been caught by police in Worcestershire.
The driver – who is believed to have been behind the wheel without a full licence since the 1970s – was pulled over on the M5 at junction five in Droitwich.
Central Motorway Police Group made the stop and seized the vehicle.
Officers tweeted from @CMPG at 2.26pm today: “After 40+ years of driving on a provisional licence this driver was eventually stopped at J5 M5 and his vehicle seized.”
