THE Alzheimer’s Society is holding a coffee morning next Wednesday where people will be able to meet up with people with dementia and their carers, as well as finding out more about the new meeting centre which is due to open up in the town later this year.

The coffee morning is taking place at the Droitwich Spa Community Hall on Heritage Way on Wednesday, July 29 from 10am to noon, and people will have the chance to find out more about what services the meeting centre will offer.

The centre, is hoping to be an innovative service for people with mild and moderate dementia, and is being led by Professor Dawn Brooker and her team at the Association for Dementia Studies at the University of Worcester.
