PARAMEDICS struggled to locate a motorcyclist in Droitwich after he attempted to wheel his bike away from a collision before collapsing.
The incident occurred just before 8.45pm on Saturday, July 18 at the junction on Salwarpe Road and Ledwych Road in Droitwich.
Paramedics were called to the scene following reports of a man coming off his motorbike and glass on the road, and a rapid response unit attended the scene with an ambulance to look for the man, but there was no sign of him.
The ambulance service then received a second call from a resident on Arrow Croft to say the man, who was in his 40s, had collapsed in the front garden of his property with blood on his face.
Paramedics located the man, who was suffering from serious chest and back injuries, and he was taken by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Police believe the man, who was riding a green Triumph motorbike, had been overtaking another bike when he was in collision with a wall.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, and is yet to speak to the police, is asked to contact West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 732 of July 18.
