PEOPLE in Droitwich Spa who are living with dementia or helping someone else to live through the experience, are being invited to come along to a free coffee morning, where they’ll be able to pick up information about a new meeting centre opening in the town in September.
The coffee morning, which is being organised by the University of Worcester’s Association for Dementia Studies and the Alzheimer’s Society, is taking place from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Friday, April 24 at the Droitwich Spa Community Hall in Heritage Way.
People will be able to come along and find out all about the new centre, which is set to open on September 23 at the community hall, providing people with an opportunity to meet other people in similar situations and access useful information about what support is on offer for them.
For more information on the coffee morning, or on the new meeting centre, call Shirley Evans on 01905 542664, write to shirley.evans@worc.ac.uk or visit droitwichspameetingcentre.wordpress.com/.
