SHOPPERS in Droitwich Spa are being urged to make the most of the town’s Devotion Loyalty Scheme, before it comes to an end at the end of the year.

The scheme, which has been running for the last 12 months, was originally funded by the Area Partnership, which is now defunct.

However members of the scheme who have been collecting stickers on cards, can still complete their cards and put them in the dedicated posting boxes in the town by December 31.

More than 70 local businesses have participated in the scheme, and they are being consulted in the new year about whether to continue the scheme or something like it.

The droitwichspa.com website is still encouraging residents to deal with local businesses through its Shop and Deal pages, and it also has full details of the Devotion Scheme and how it works.

One of the organisers, Keith Westray, said: “Whilst the current scheme is coming to an end there can be no better time to complete cards and support local businesses than in the Christmas Shopping period.”
