Community businesses and organisations called on to lay a wreath this Remembrance Sunday

DROITWICH Spa businesses and organisations are being asked to put their orders forward for wreaths to be laid on Remembrance Sunday in the town.

The wreaths are organized by Droitwich British Legion and final orders need to be placed by early August, so the Legion is asking for all requests to be received by Thursday, July 31 at the latest.

The Legion is hoping that organisations will be happy to lay wreaths as part of the 100 anniversary year, to pay their respects for the fallen soldiers of Droitwich, and a range of wreaths are available, with a small donation required to cover their production and delivery costs.

For more information, please contact Katherine Holmes of Forget-me-not Weddings and Events on 01905 921557, pop into the Droitwich Spa British Legion on Salwarpe Road, or pick up an order form from the Tourist Information Centre in St Richard’s House.
