New kit for footie playing youngsters

THE Rotary Club of Droitwich has donated £500 to local children’s football teams in order to get them a new kit.

The Droitwich Spa Boys and Girls FC teams for ages five to seven received the money for their badly needed new kit.

The football club, which is now in its 35th year, runs 29 squads of boys and girls from five to 18, with approximately 390 playing members.
