DROITWICH History & Archeology Society is holding a talk this evening on 100 years of Boy’s Story papers.
The talk, which is being held in the John Corbett Room at Droitwich Community Hall, is being given by society member Ray Aspden, who is well known for his interest in cartoons.
Mr Aspden has worked as an illustrator for the society, and for Dodderhill Parish Survey Project, as well as several other publications.
The talk will hopefully give people a glimpse into the children’s comics of generations past, and will be running from 7.30pm on Wednesday, July 2 at Droitwich Community Hall. Entry is £2 for members, and £4 for visitors.
