STAFF at the Blue Cross charity shop in Droitwich went back to the 1940s at the weekend as a theme for their stylish fundraising tea party.
The party was held on Saturday, May 10 at the shop on St Andrew’s Street, with homemade baked treats, a tombola and a special prize draw.
Nicky Carr, Blue Cross shop manager in Droitwich, said: “What easier way to help needy pets than by enjoying a slice of cake? Every cake we sell means Blue Cross hospitals and rehoming centres can help even more needy pets - it’s the ‘purr-fect’ excuse to spoil yourself.”
All the proceeds from the tea party have been put towards the charity’s work with sick and homeless pets.
