A MAN is wanted in connection with "a campaign of intimidation" against a Worcester family.

Hubert 'Hubey' Locke is wanted in connection with a series of domestics-related crimes this week.

A property in Leckhampton Close, Worcester, has had its windows broken every day for the last three days (April 8 to April 10) and its residents have received malicious communications, including threats.

Also, two properties in Brickfields Road and Southfield Street have had their windows smashed, however, the residents have no connections to those who live at Leckhampton Close and it is believed they have been targeted by mistake.

Officer have been trying to trace Hubert ‘Hubey’ Locke, aged 35, of Wych Road, Droitwich, who they believe may be linked to the incidents.

PC Dave Hawkins said: “A family from Worcester has been suffering a campaign of intimidation and are being repeatedly victimised. We are concerned the incidents may escalate and we need to trace those responsible.

“We also believe innocent residents have been affected simply because whoever is committing these offences has been completely reckless.

“If anyone has information about who is behind these attacks, please contact the police. We are very keen to trace Hubey Locke and if anyone knows of his whereabouts, please get in touch straight away.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Hubey to contact us himself so we can talk to him about whether or not he is involved.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Duty Sergeant in Worcester via the non-emergency police number 101 or information can be passed on anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers (0800 555 111 or via their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org).
