AN inquest has been opened at Stourport Coroner’s Court, into the death of a Droitwich man who was struck by a train on Friday, April 4.
The inquest into the death of Lloyd John Gilbert opened on Wednesday, April 9 but was immediately adjourned awaiting reports.
Mr Gilbert, who was 41, was struck and killed by a train near to Causeway Meadows Farm, on Shaw Lane in Stoke Prior, and is believed to have died from extensive multiple injuries.
