DROITWICH Concert Club will be holding its next event on Saturday, March 22 at Droitwich Methodist Church on Worcester Road.
The concert involves the second performance of a new piece from composer Ian Venables as part of a joint commission with Bromsgrove Concerts.
Mr Venables, who lives in Worcester, has written Canzonetta for Clarinet and String Quartet,which has been made possible with funding from the Kay Trust Fund which was set up by Malvern resident Ernie Kay.
The work is being dedicated to Huw Ceredig who was for many years the principal percussionist in the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
The evening starts at 7:30pm and tickets are £15 for adults, or £5 for young people and students.
