KEEN golfers from the Gaudet Luce Golf Club in Droitwich are set to take part in the MacMillan Longest Day Golf competition to raise money for the charity.
The competition sees teams of four players play four rounds of golf in a day, with the winners from each club vying to go on into regional and national finals, before finally competition in a grand final abroad.
It’s a physical test for the competitors, but it’s also a massive fundraising effort with both the players and other club members.
The club also putting proceeds from its Joint Captains Day, and several smaller competitions, coffee mornings and fundraisers toward the charity this year.
