PUPILS from a school near Droitwich Spa have raised hundreds of pounds for a children's charity.
Youngsters from Sytchampton First School raised £560 to support the work of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).
A fundraiser from the organisation visited the school to teach the children about the charity and its role, in which they learnt about children less fortunate than themselves. They took part in a variety of activities and asked family and friends for sponsor money and donations to help the charity raise vital funds needed for the special helpline service for children – ChildLine.
