A CARE home in Droitwich was transformed into a sea of red when staff and residents raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Westmead Residential Care Home, Westmead Close, Droitwich, joined the nation to support the charity’s Ramp up the Red event on Friday, February 7.
Residents raided their wardrobes for their finest red attire to make sure they looked the part.
Staff members and residents also decorated heart-shaped biscuits and created an impressive crimson collage straight from the heart to hang in the home.
Money raised at Westmead’s Ramp up the Red event will help The British Heart Foundation – the biggest funder of charitable heart research in the UK, to fund lifesaving research into coronary heart disease, the UK’s single biggest killer.
