A DROITWICH opticians will support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) with a charity day.
Specsavers, based in at St Andrews Square, will be taking part in Ramp up the Red day on Friday (February 7). Staff members will be dressed in red and offering baked treats in return for donations to the cause. Visitors to the store can also take part in a raffle.
One of the team members, Chantelle Carroll, is also going the extra mile, or ten, to support the charity as she embarks on a sponsored walk on February 8. The circular walk starts at Chawson, passing through Salwarpe and Ombersley.
"The BHF does an incredible amount of work to raise awareness about heart health, so hopefully plenty of people will pop along to support the cause," said Emma Singh, store director.
The BHF is the nation’s heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and by providing vital information.
