DROITWICH History and Archaeology Society is set to hold its next talk.
The event will take place on Wednesday, February 5 at 7.30pm.
The talk, which will be given by Hal Dalwood, will be on the Lowesmoor Project and the archaeology discovered at the site now occupied by ASDA in Worcester.
The extensive excavations undertaken prior to development reveal a heavily industrialised site with deposits from Worcester's once famous industrial heritage. Also featured on the site was parts of Worcester's Civil War defences.
Hal Dalwood, who worked at the dig site, will give full details of the archaeology undertaken and talk of the site in its historical context.
It will take place in the John Corbett room of Droitwich Community Hall, Heritage Way.
Tickets cost £2 for members and £3 for visitors.
