TWO people are wanted to be the voice of parents on county educational matters.
Worcestershire County Council is looking for two parent governors, one representing parents in the primary school settings and the other in secondary schools, to serve on the county council's overview and scrutiny committees dealing with education.
The role is to ensure parents of children in schools in Worcestershire have a non-political voice on educational issues and can hold the council to account for policy and decision making.
Anyone interested must be a parent governor at a county council maintained school. They should complete a nomination form by visiting worcestershire.gov.uk/cms/democratic-services/parent-governor-representative.aspx.
Nominations must be received by noon on Friday, February 7.
