CHARITABLE groups in the district can now apply for funding support.
Wychavon’s District Council's Community Grants Scheme is now open and there is £50,000 up for grabs.
The grants are for projects that include all aspects of community life such as community buildings, sports and arts.
More than 100 packs were sent out in 2013 of which 22 organisations applied and 17 were successful.
Tracy Grubb, community development officer at Wychavon, said: “We’re very pleased to be able to offer community grants again. We had some fantastic projects that were successful last year.”

All applicants are also required to attend one of three briefings about the scheme.
They are due to take place at the Civic Centre, Pershore, at 6.30pm on Wednesday, February 19, Wednesday, March 5 and Wednesday, March 19.
