PATIENTS at St Richard's Hospice are getting into the festive spirit thanks to a special donation of Christmas trees from Webbs Garden Centre in Wychbold.

The garden centre delivered large and small fresh trees to deck the halls, day hospice, Snowdrop Centre and in-patient bedrooms of the hospice at Wildwood Drive, Worcester.

Patients, staff and volunteers at the charity, which was started in Droitwich Spa, set straight to decorating the trees when they arrived, giving the hospice a homely festive feel.

Hospice fundraising director Tricia Cavell said: "This is a wonderful gift from Webbs, which is a very generous supporter of St Richard's throughout the year. It makes all the difference to patients to help them to enjoy the festive spirit of the season."

St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families. For more information visit strichards.org.uk
