Droitwich florists to support children's charity
8:40am Thursday 24th October 2013 in Local
A DROITWICH Spa florists is to hold a fundraising day to support disabled and terminally ill children.
Crumps Florist’s open day will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, October 26 and give flower arranging enthusiasts an opportunity to pop in for an informal workshop with manager Gaynor De-Zille and her team at the Hanbury Road store.
She said: “We want to get away from the business’s image of just being a funeral florist. We are looking to specialise in very modern, dynamic styles which will not only appeal to individual customers but to the local corporate market.”
The open day will feature a fundraising raffle and sale of jewellery to raise vital funds for Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children. The UK’s leading children’s disability charity has provided £190,331 of specialist equipment for 101 under-19s in Worcestershire.
She added: “We want to support the work that Newlife does in helping local disabled children and hope this open day will give the charity a funding boost.”
