Droitwich's CAB to give insight into daily activities
8:40am Tuesday 22nd October 2013 in Local
STAFF at Droitwich Spa’s Citizens Advice Bureau are giving the public an insight into their daily activities.
The town bureau, based at Droitwich Library Victoria Square and open on Tuesdays and Fridays, is taking part in a week-long Twitter event called #CABlive.
It is a way of collecting a record of what is happening and seeing the types of stories and clients that CAB deal with on a daily basis.
People are being encouraged to take to the social networking site to follow what is going on at a CAB office near them.
Ruth Davies, manager at South Worcestershire CAB, said: “Anyone can join in and get involved. lt could be a bureau, a volunteer, a trustee or a member of Citizens Advice staff. There are so many varied roles within the service and each plays a vital role in our Success."
The town’s CAB is also hoping the Twitter event will encourage volunteers to come forward. The service is now recruiting people to help at the Droitwich site.
