Taste of the continent for Droitwich shoppers
12:40pm Monday 16th September 2013 in Local
THERE’s a chance to try some of the best the continent has to offer in Droitwich next month with a traditional European food and craft fair.
The fair is running from Thursday, October 17 to Saturday, October 19 in St Andrews Square and will see the town centre transformed into a bustling European market place with everything from Brittany biscuits, olives and Italian nougat, to cheeses, sausages, charcuterie and fresh breads.
As well as all the delicious tastes to try, there will be stalls selling other items including Marseille soaps, lavender, children’s toys, bags and leather goods and pashminas.
Stall holders will be dressed in traditional costume from 100 years ago, with items made by traditional methods, and the stalls will be decked out in style of the country they come from.
