Fashion show raises hundreds for Droitwich Lido

HUNDREDS of pounds were raised at a fashion show to support Droitwich Spa Lido.
The event was held at the town’s Sacred Heart Church Hall, Worcester Road, on Friday, March 15 and made £700 to help the facility.
Organiser Sheila Preston, from Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL), said: “I would like to thank everyone for their support, including Country Casuals for supplying the clothes and also local firms who donated raffle prizes. It was a great night and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.”
Droitwich Spa’s mayor, Councillor Anne Taft, was also in attendance as FODSL is one of her chosen charities of the year.
