DROITWICH Concert Club's 40th season continues on Saturday, February 9.

Making a welcome return visit to the town, the Denner Ensemble, whose members all have busy careers with the leading period-instument bands in the UK, will present a programme entitled "Virtuosi".

The group, consisting of oboe, violin, bassoon, harpsichord and violone, will play works for the whole ensemble by Handel and Vivaldi and others for duos and trios.

The concert, at 7.30pm, will take place in Droitwich Methodist Church, Worcester Road. Tickets are available by calling 01905 779736 or at the door on the night.
