PEOPLE from the area’s business community are set to meet at Wychavon District Council’s civic centre to hear about the proposed budget, business rates and support available to them.

The meeting will start at 7.30am on Wednesday, January 23 at the Pershore site.

Jack Hegarty, managing director at the council, said “We’re looking forward to welcoming businesses to this annual session. Strong economy is one of our top priorities with small and medium sized businesses the lifeblood of our district. We want to do even more to help our current businesses, as well as those who want to grow, start up or relocate here.”

Businesses will also be able to benefit from information about apprentices and skills, with guest speakers from South Worcestershire College and the National Apprenticeship Service.
