THE Worcestershire Jazz Orchestra will be paying tribute to band leader Ted Heath and his music next month.
The group will be featuring some of the popular Ted Heath arrangements during their next concert at The Droitwich British Legion on Salwarpe Road, on Friday, February 8.
The 1950s was the most popular period for Heath and his music, during which a substantial repertoire of recordings were made.
Musicians across the world have been inspired by the immaculate precision of the Heath ensemble created during this period and the orchestra are hoping to pay their own tribute to him at the show.
The concert starts at 8pm and tickets will be available on the door.
