Hospice staff James Kerton, Lisa Laurie, Kelly Hinton, Shelly Lewis, Margaret Parkes and Sheila Keeble-Searle with one of the donated Christmas trees.
A GARDEN centre near Droitwich Spa has helped deck the halls of St Richard’s Hospice.
Patients at the Worcester-based hospice are getting in the festive spirit thanks to a special donation of Christmas trees from Webbs garden centre in Wychbold.
The garden centre has delivered large and small fresh trees to help decorate the facility’s hall, Day Hospice, Snowdrop Centre and in-patient bedrooms at Wildwood Drive.
Patients, staff and volunteers set straight to decorating the trees when they arrived, giving the hospice a homely festive feel.
Hospice fundraising director Tricia Cavell said: "This is a wonderful gift from Webbs, who are very generous supporters of St Richard's throughout the year. It makes all the difference to patients to help them to enjoy the festive spirit of the season."
St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families. Each year the hospice team supports over 2,300 patients and family members in Worcestershire.
