RESIDENTS at a Fernhill Heath care home were treated to Christmas carols by talented youngsters.

Pupils from Hindlip CE First School, Droitwich Road, Hindlip, visiting Festival Housing Association’s The Cedars in Fernhill Heath.

Residents were treated to carols performed by children from the school’s singing club and then to a festive lunch.

Headteacher Carolyn Tew said: “Our children sang a range of Christmas songs. The event went really well and pupils were very happy to bring some Christmas cheer to the elderly people at this time of year.

“We have strong links with The Cedars and think it is important for the children to appreciate older people and have respect for them.”
