PEOPLE can enjoy a magical festive trip to Hanbury Hall this Christmas.

The National Trust property near Droitwich Spa is playing host to Father Christmas on the weekends of December 8 and 9 and December 15 and 16.

Families can get into the festive spirit in the historic setting and children can join in with activities in the Long Gallery before visiting Father Christmas in his grotto.

Visitors can wander through the traditionally decorated house, pick up some Christmas presents in the shop, and enjoy festive treats in the tea-room.

The events run from 11am to 4pm, normal admission charges apply with a small additional charge for children’s activities and the visit to Father Christmas.

Alice Eddy, visitor services manager, said: “Our first family Christmas weekend was really successful and we hope to see lots more people coming along to Hanbury Hall over the next two weekends. It’s also the perfect opportunity for those in need of Christmas inspiration to visit our shop and pick up some special gifts.”
