THE town’s St Andrews Square shopping centre has appointed a new manager.
Robert Fusco, who has more than 20 years of shopping centre experience, has previously been manager at Braehead in Glasgow and the Frenchgate Centre in Doncaster, as well as being responsible for establishing and running Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth as director.
He will now take charge of the Droitwich site which is the town’s major shopping centre, anchored by Morrisons and including other retailers such as Wilkinson, Boots and Argos.
Matthew Meaden, from site owners Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund, said: “We want to ensure that St Andrews Square plays a key role in meeting the needs of the local community and this appointment marks a significant step in doing so. “Robert has considerable and wide ranging experience in the shopping centre business that will greatly help us in our plans.”
Mr Fusco said: “I am very pleased to be joining the St Andrews Square team at such an exciting time.”
