DROITWICH Spa Civic Society has donated a tree to help commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee year.
Mayor of Droitwich, Councillor Anne Taft, helped group chairman Stuart Haywood to plant a liquid amber tree on Tuesday, November 20. The tree was placed in the ground of St Richard’s House, Victoria Square.
Liquid Amber is a tree with green foliage in the summer that turns to vivid autumn colours of red and orange at this time of the year.
Droitwich Spa Civic Society is a volunteer group dedicated to the preservation, protection, development and improvement of historic buildings and new developments in Droitwich Spa and surrounding areas.
