SIR – Re George Cowley’s letter regarding drivers under 25 and over 65 (Worcester News , July 25).
I have read some rubbish in my time but to say people over 65 should not be allowed to drive is a load of rubbish.
I am over 65 and just recently finished driving for someone for 12 months and he found me a very good driver.
I have also applied to drive for a firm of undertakers and when I told them I was 67 they were more than happy to take me on.
I doubt if George Cowley has ever driven a car in his life, so I suggest he keeps quiet.
