SIR – As one of the veterans marching in the parade, and on behalf of the Worcester and Hereford Branch of the Grenadier Guards Association, I would like to say a big thank you to all the people who came out to support all the soldiers and veterans in Worcester (Worcester News, June 28).
I would also like to thank all the schools who allowed their pupils to attend this magnificent Armed Forces Parade. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and uplifting occasion for all those present and it made us feel very proud to be part of it.
