Droitwich Spa Twinning Association
Droitwich Spa twinners had a very successful weekend with a jumble sale which raised approximately £80 on the Saturday morning and a Valentine's evening on the Saturday night.
Rob Jacobs, the association's press officer, thanked everyone who donated the jumble and Graham, with his team at the Old Library, who volunteer to do the sale for us every year.
Rob then went on to say that the Valentine's night was a terrific success with more than 40 people attending. The room looked splendid and Adrienne Sale and her social committee members provided everyone with an excellent three course meal and a gift of flowers to every lady present. The evening was rounded off with a Mr & Mrs competition where vice-chairman Robin Hartridge and his wife Maureen scored an impressive eight out of ten to take first prize.
The next social event is Spring Fever on April 5 at the Community Centre starting at 7.30pm. For more details speak to Rob on 01905 796243.
