Boost Red Cross funds
WORKERS at a Spa firm have organised a range of activities to raise much-needed funds for the British Red Cross.
To mark Red Cross Appeal Week, which runs until this Saturday, staff at Droitwich Land Rover have arranged a host of activities, including a prize draw with a chance to win a Land Rover adventure of a lifetime.
All visitors to the Kidderminster Road dealership during this week can make a voluntary donation to the Red Cross and also take the opportunity to enter a free prize draw for a chance to win one of 20 Adriatic Adventures.
The four-day journey from Montenegro to Dubrovnik will see the winners, and a guest, drive the range of Land Rover's supremely capable 4x4 vehicles across diverse terrain from scenic coastline to challenging off-road environments.
In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to enter a free prize draw for a chance to win one of ten Land Rover G4 mountain bikes.
Mike Wollacotte, at Droitwich Land Rover, said: "As a dealership, we are committed to making a significant contribution to this worthy cause and, in partnership with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, our efforts support a wider Land Rover drive to raise around £1 million."
The British Red Cross is the UK's leading voluntary crisis response organisation and supports people in adverse circumstances every day of the year.
Land Rover supplies a quarter of the global aid agency market's annual requirement for vehicles, which are used by emergency services, police, ambulance and mountain rescue teams across the UK and worldwide. For further details, or to make a donation to the British Red Cross, contact Droitwich Land Rover on 01905 797 777 or visit its Kidderminster Road showroom. Alternatively log onto www.landrover.co.uk
